AkiVAL is an exhibition series presented by the NUS Department of Architecture (DOA) and The Architecture Society (TAS). Formally known as Archival, AkiVAL celebrates the work of our Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Master of Arts in Architectural Conservation, Master of Science, Integrated Sustainable Design and Master of Arts in Urban Design and Master of Urban Planning students.
AkiVAL: a combination of “Aki” – the spelling of “Archi” and “Festival”, is one of the College of Design and Engineering (CDE )’s largest and liveliest events that celebrates the tremendous effort the students have made during the past academic year.
The annual event showcases the magnificent final product and the rigorous design process behind the work of the students from DOA and the complementary disciplines that enhance the Architectural Education in NUS. The strong educational foundation we build will empower us to pursue architecture with confidence and motivation, encouraging proficient and passionate individuals who will contribute to the building and shaping of Singapore’s future.
