ASATTE NO EKI: A STATION FOR THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW
Location
SDE 3 LEVEL 3, LIFT LOBBY
This collection of Fourth Year and Thesis projects reimagines some of Japan’s train stations along Odakyu and Keio lines, offering innovative and sensitive propositions that transform the potential of older stations into vibrant community spaces, cultural corridors, and sustainable infrastructure. Each proposal honors the unique heritage and context of these stations while exploring fresh architectural solutions for reconnection, renewal, and local identity. The studio forms part of a wider focus on infrastructure as architecture for an uncertain future in the light of climate change.
