Amid the rapid expansion of the resort tourism industry in Vietnam, many developments replicate foreign architectural models, lacking local identity and climatic responsiveness. This study proposes the LEM framework to assess and enhance the effectiveness of localization in resort architecture. Experimental results demonstrate ecological, experiential, and social benefits.

 Nguyen Viet Huy is an architect, Associate Professor, and lecturer at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, PhD from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, holding the French DPLG architect qualification, with 20 years of experience in architectural practice, teaching, and academic research focusing on vernacular architecture, green architecture, and sustainable urban design.
