Join us for an EXCLUSIVE Guest Lecture by Prof. Anwar Sanusi, Ph.D, who will be sharing his valuable insights on developing future-ready talent for sustainable built environments in the ASEAN region. How do we prepare people not merely for the jobs that exist today, but for the economies, workplaces and built environments that are still being created? Drawing on Indonesia’s experience in human-capital and labour market transformation, this lecture will explore how education, industry and government can better connect skills development, work experiencem lifelong learning, and career mobility to prepare people for the workplaces and sustainable built environments ASEAN is still creating.

Professor Anwar Sanusi, serves as the Head of Manpower Planning and Development Agency at the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia. In this capacity, he plays a leading role in shaping national workforce planning, talent development, skills enhancement, vocational education, and lifelong learning initiatives that support Indonesia’s economic transformation and labour market competitiveness. Throughout his career, Prof. Anwar has operated at the intersection of public policy, institutional development, governance, and organisational capability building. His participation in this dialogue brings valuable perspectives on workforce development, lifelong learning, public policy, talent transformation, and the future readiness of human capital in emerging economies.
