Art and Architecture, a Collaborative Journey in Progress

Eric Parry has worked with artists and sculptors throughout his career and incorporates art into the very fabric of buildings both materially and symbolically.
As an architect and artist, he believes that the relationship between art and architecture should be symbiotic to create a layered narrative that melds together materiality, intention, and identity.

Inspired by the intersections between art and architecture throughout his career, Eric will talk about his long-standing relationships with renowned artists and sculptors, revealing how these collaborations have produced buildings of material richness and cultural resonance, each one inextricably linked to the experience of place.

Eric Parry CBE, RA is founder of Eric Parry Architects. He is one of the UK’s most highly regarded architects, known for beautifully crafted, enduring buildings with a deep responsiveness to place. Leading a practice of 100 in London and Singapore, he brings intellectual rigour and civic sensitivity to projects across the UK, Europe and Asia. His work traverses a diverse range of building types from spaces for social care and high-end residential to significant cultural institutions and tallest tower in the City of London. Awarded a CBE for services to architecture in 2025, he is also a Royal Academician, former President of the Architectural Association, and a longstanding contributor to architectural education.
