Kaze House

Organized by Lixil and Shinkenchiku (Japan Architects), the competition invited universities internationally for designing a 100 square-meter house placed in Memu Meadow, Hokkaido, Japan where the temperature varies from -15 to 30 degree Celsius.

The invited universities except NUS are: Harvard University, TU Delft, Aalto University, Dresden University of Technology, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, The Bartlett School of Architecture UCL, Vienna University of Technology, Tonji University, Hanoi Architectural University, Kyoto University, Hokkaido University.

The NUS Team consisted of Tsuto Sakamoto (Studio Leader), Chaw Chih Wen (Sub-leader) and students won the Award of Excellence and presented the proposal in Tokyo, Japan.
