AR5321 Advanced Architectural Integration
The course provides learning experiences on multi-disciplinary collaboration and problem-solving between architects and engineers to prepare students for contemporary architectural practice. It commences with case studies to understand overviews and foundations for interdisciplinary collaboration and BIM / IDD. A series of lectures on advanced architectural technologies illustrates how innovative architecture could be emerged from multidisciplinary collaborations across the disciplines of Advanced Structure and Advanced Construction. Students are to create innovative group integrated building systems proposals for optimization, performance, and aesthetic goals, which is to be supported by BIM / IDD work flows in collaboration with the lecturers and consultants who are architects and engineers
