DEP5103 URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING

Urban and Regional Planning is the third studio project of the MUP programme. In this core studio course, students will engage with regional scale planning. They will undertake analysis at urban and regional scales to identify the key planning issues and to propose integrated and sustainable planning solutions that have regional implications. Establishing visioning frameworks would be the key to identify game-changer projects that would transform the region and its dynamics. The visions are then translated into concept plans through regional structuring, transport and mobility enhancement as well as green linkages and sustainability concepts.
