BCA-Industry Built Environment Scholarship

The BCA-Industry Built Environment Undergraduate Scholarship / Sponsorship programmes are offered by BCA, in collaboration with industry firms, to students of high calibre pursuing full-time Built Environment (BE) courses at local Universities and the BCA Academy.

Through these programmes, graduates will enjoy opportunities to build on an exciting and rewarding career in the BE sector.

Eligibility
National University of Singapore (NUS) B.A. Arch undergraduates who:

  • are Singapore Citizens* or Singapore Permanent Residents

possess outstanding academic results and excellent CCA records.
*Male applicants must have completed or be exempted from full-time National Service.

Scholarship Sum
The minimum annual scholarship sum is $18,000 per local scholar. BCA will co-fund $12,000 per year per scholarship, while the participating firm will contribute the rest of the scholarship sum. Scholars will serve a bond with the firm upon graduation. 

The minimum annual sponsorship sum is $10,000 per local student. BCA will co-fund $7,000 per year per student, while the participating firm will contribute the rest of the sponsorship sum. Sponsored students will also have to serve a bond with the firm upon graduation.

 

URA Scholarship

The URA Scholarship is offered by URA to undergraduates studying various disciplines including Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Urban Planning.

Terms of Award — Local Scholarship

  • 4-year bond
  • Tuition and other compulsory fees
  • Monthly maintenance allowance
  • Hostel allowance, if applicable
  • Pre-studies allowance

Training Attachment
An 8-week training attachment during the study period. Airfare will be provided where applicable.

Mentor Programme
Each scholar has a mentor to guide and support him / her during the period of study.

Scholarship Application 
You are welcome to apply for our scholarship online. Scholarship application for the next scholarship cycle commences on 1 January 2019 and we close two weeks after the release of the GCE ‘A’ level results.
