Anna Kerr is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore, teaching within the MSc in Integrated Sustainable Design (MScISD) programme. Her teaching translates two decades of international architectural and urban design practice into training that equips architects, landscape architects, and planners to make carbon-literate design decisions across scales.
Anna trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Copenhagen, earning a Master's degree in Architecture and Urban Design. Her career has taken her from early practice in Denmark, through her own studio delivering cultural and commercial projects in France and South Korea, to senior leadership roles across China, Singapore, and London, before she went on to serve as a Regional Director overseeing strategic initiatives across Northern Europe and Asia.
She has led award-winning sustainable urban development projects across Scandinavia, the UK, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, and Singapore, including a major Sino-Swedish eco-city development and a climate-innovation housing district in the UK, and contributed to the development of a widely used carbon-costing tool and a series of published white papers on sustainable urban systems. She currently serves as an external advisor to Snøhetta.
