On 14 June 2018, a workshop on poster design for marine conservation was organized by CWR. The purpose of this hands-on workshop was to give interested JC students tips and professional training on how to design the most effective posters to tackle the negative impact of marine pollution. 15 motivated JC students registered for the workshop and decided to participate in the MPA-SEC Waves of Change Poster Design Competition 2018, to encourage youths to better understand marine pollution issues and initiate change. Participants stand a chance to win up to S$2,000.
