Deng Jinghui presented a Floating Gas Diffusion Electrode. In contrast to conventional electrodes, this novel electrode configuration is able to electro-generate H2O2 passively using O2 from the air without the need of forced aeration. These electrodes can be utilized for electro-disinfection and the mineralization of recalcitrant organic compounds.
