The Centre for Water Research (CWR) successfully hosted a seminar on “Novel Treatment Processes and Emerging Contaminants” on 6 June 2025.
The event brought together researchers, students, and industry experts for knowledge exchange and discussion. Four researchers from CWR shared their research findings focused on emerging contaminants such as microplastics and antibiotic exposure, as well as innovative treatment technologies designed to address these complex pollutants.
A series of engaging presentations showcased recent advances in innovative technologies, sustainable approaches and holistic ecotoxiticity understanding for water treament and emerging contaminants. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, fostering collaboration among attendees from academia and industry.
CWR extends its appreciation to all speakers, attendees, and organizing members who contributed to the success of the seminar. Plans are underway for future events to continue driving innovation in water and environmental research.
