CWR is at the frontier of this exploratory R&D to develop innovative energy and resource harnessing technologies from used water such as microbial fuel cells (MFCs) for direct extraction of biochemical energy from biomass into electricity. CWR has also developed and continues to innovate systems and extraction methods to harvest bioenergy such as methane production through anaerobic process and biodiesel from algal growth in used water, as well as recovery of useful products from industrial used water.
