Biography

Professor Cheong joined the University of Singapore in 1973. He has made contributions to teaching and administration in the university as well as in the industry. His main contributions to research are in coastal hydraulics and computational hydrodynamics as applied to tidal circulations, sedimentation and mud transport and water quality in coastal areas. He was awarded the honorary title of Emeritus Professor in 2014.
