An Invitation to the Prospective Tenure-Track Faculty Candidates

The Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is excited to announce several tenure-track faculty positions. We are primarily seeking candidates at the assistant professor level, but exceptionally well-qualified individuals may also be considered for positions at the associate professor and professor levels.

To shape the future of chemical engineering research and education, we are actively seeking exceptionally talented and passionate candidates to join us on the journey of discovering both classical and modern aspects of chemical and biomolecular engineering, covering all scales from the molecular to the macroscopic to the global. We have a particular interest in the following expert domains:

  • Advanced Molecular, Biologics and Materials Manufacturing
  • Process Systems Engineering, Multi-scale Modelling and Simulation
  • Machine Learning and AI in Chemical and Biological Engineering
  • Energy, Sustainability and Decarbonisation

Ideal candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree and possess postdoctoral experience in relevant fields. Demonstrating the ability to develop and maintain an internationally recognized and externally funded research program within their area of expertise will be considered a valuable advantage. Our faculty members are expected to engage in multi-disciplinary research, teach existing undergraduate and graduate courses, and innovate by developing new programs.
