Admissions

Master of Science (Chemical Engineering):

At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or its equivalent.

Master of Science (Energy Systems):

At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and other STEM disciplines.

Master of Science (Safety, Health & Environmental Technology):

At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or Natural Science.

Candidates applying for part-time courses should preferably have had a period of relevant practical experience after obtaining their first degree.

Master of Engineering:

At least a Bachelor’s degree with Honours (at least 2nd Class Lower) or its equivalent.

Doctor of Philosophy:

At least a Bachelor’s degree with Honours (at least 2nd Class Upper)

Applicants who fulfil the admission criteria are strongly encouraged to apply for direct admission to the PhD programme. International candidates are expected to also submit their TOEFL or GRE or IELTS test scores in support of their applications.

Doctor of Engineering:

At least a Bachelor’s degree with Honours (at least 2nd Class Upper)

Candidates must have confirmed sponsoring companies, and at least one academic supervisor, before initiating the application.
