MSc (Safety, Health and Environmental Technology) Programme
The Master of Science (Safety, Health and Environmental Technology) is one of our most established master programmes offered at NUS. We are dedicated to equip our students with advanced scientific and technological.
To advance and elevate the body of knowledge in safety, health and environmental management, the Master of Science in Safety, Health and Environmental Technology (MSc SHE) is designed to train and develop Future-Ready SHE Leaders, Advanced Practitioners, and Professionals in SHE Management.
You will be taught by Industry Practitioners, Professional Engineers, Specialist Scientists and Representatives of Regulators, acquire knowledge across the broad subjects of SHE Management, and understand the philosophies, approaches, and good practices of workplace SHE issues. You will also learn about the rationale of compliance requirements in legislations, and acquire advanced knowledge and skillsets at the management, advisory, and consultant levels.
Specializing in Industrial Hygiene will enable you to acquire niche know-how in evaluating hazardous exposure and design control measures, quantify chemical hazards and support occupational health management.

Admission
Eligibility | At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or Natural Science. |
English Requirement | TOEFL (internet-based test)> 85 or IELTS (academic)> 6.0 is required if your first language is not English. You may be waived from this requirement if you have completed your degree programme taught entirely in English, situated in an English speaking country, for example (non-exhaustive list) Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, United Kingdom, USA. The TOEFL/IELTS result is only valid for 2 years after the test and should be valid at the beginning of the application period. |
