Professor Javier Perez-Ramirez wins the 2019 Paul H. Emmett Award in Fundamental Catalysis from the North American Catalysis Society 2019. He holds the Issac Manasseh Meyer Chair as a Visiting Professor in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Department at National University of Singapore.

Dr Wan Chunfeng, a Research Fellow from the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Department is featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list 2019 under the Industry, Manufacturing & Energy category. He specializes in water and energy research. His project focused on studying Pressure Retarded Osmosis, which utilizes osmotic pressure to generate energy.
