26th Air Transport Research Society World Conference – Department of the Built Environment

Our PFM Year 4 student Jordan recently presented the international 26th Air Transport Research Society World Conference, held in Kobe, Japan from 1 to 4 July 2023.

He delivered his first-ever conference talk covering his paper titled: The role of airport commercial developments in influencing travellers’ transfer hub choice – A case study of Jewel Changi Airport.

Jordan would like to extend his heartfelt gratitude to Associate Professors Jonathan Lian and Stephen Tay for their invaluable guidance throughout this journey. Their continuous support played a significant role in shaping his presentation and ensuring its success.

Congratulations, Professor Chandra Sekhar and Associate Professor Tham Kwok Wai, on the publication of their article in the prestigious Science Journal! They were part of a team of international scientists led by Professor Lidia Morawska, Queensland University of Technology, Australia, who published an article calling for mandating indoor air quality (IAQ) standards in public buildings.
