Curriculum and Programme Structure

The BEng Infrastructure and Project Management (IPM) programme is taught at the College of Design and Engineering (CDE). You can customise and build your own IPM degree based on your preferred breadth and depth for a bespoke educational experience.

The BEng IPM degree aims to equip future graduates with relevant and highly sought after skills providing potential opportunities that will bolster their employability after graduation.

The curriculum structure consists of a Common Curriculum, the Infrastructure and Project Management (IPM) major, and a variety of Unrestricted Electives.

IPM Specialisations

Specialisation in Sustainable Green Buildings

The Specialisation in Sustainable Green Buildings is open only to students from BEng Infrastructure and Project Management.

To be awarded a Specialisation in Sustainable Green Buildings, the student must pass 20 units from the courses listed below:

  • IPM1104 Built Environment Engineering Principles and Practice (4 Units)
  • PF3504 Sustainable Energy Management (4 Units)
  • PF4213 Building Energy Analysis and Simulation (4 Units)
  • PF4502 Green Development (4 Units)
  • IPM4101 Dissertation (8 Units)

** For students taking IPM4101, the topic should focus on research topics and/or industry-led topics related to sustainable green buildings. Students are required to email their finalised dissertation topic to the department at IPM@nus.edu.sg for vetting.
