Building Information Modelling (BIM) Immersion and Competition (2018), is an annual event organized by National University of Singapore in collaboration with different universities and BIM software vendors, to enhance opportunities for students to learn and explore the real-life usage of BIM authoring tools. This year (2018), the event was organized at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan from 10th Dec to 15th Dec 2018. 14 students from Project and Facilities Management course were selected to participate in the event. GRAPHISOFT, a leading BIM based solution provider also collaborated in the event. This year the theme of the event was to “learn to deliver a well-planned, cost effective and environmentally friendly facility with BIM and algorithmic design”.
