The FINALS International Dance Competition – Department of the Built Environment

Congratulations to our final year PFM student Kia Khee and the STEP Youth Crew on winning The FINALS International Dance Competition! 🎉

The competition was held in Braunschweig, Germany, and Kia Khee’s team clinched 1st Place in the Professional category and a full standing ovation from a stadium of 2,500 audience members.

The team was awarded an exceptional, near-perfect score of 96/100 against 26 other adult teams from Germany, Brazil,Poland, Netherlands and Switzerland.

Over the past months, Kia Khee has been working hard, guiding her juniors and assisting in planning the logistics for the trip while juggling her academic commitments. The department is proud of her dedication and efforts in pursuing her love for dance.
