Manager (Undergraduate Programme Coordinator)

(1) Undergraduate programme management

  • Undergraduate curriculum matters:
    • Update catalogue, prospectus etc. including  website
    • Implement new module/programme including advising on programme structure for Industrial Design and NUSC, includes providing advice on programme requirements
    • Verify completion of programme requirements
    • Admin support for Division’s Minor(s) programme
    • Serves as representative at Undergraduate (UG) admin lead meetings
  • Undergraduate admission:
    • Prepare and manage annual student admission – aptitude test,  prepare instruction manual for reviewers and applicants, prepare admission data, update FAQ/Freshmen Guide
    • Plan and organise the Division’s welcome session for student
  • Course management:
    • Timetable planning, venue/facilities booking for courses
    • Manage hiring of part-time teaching staff
    • Work with partners on allocation of common curriculum courses/pillars
    • Manage accuracy of student feedback data, platform bidding, pre-allocation of core course and tutorial groups etc
    • Manage examination administration, prepare result data etc
    • Assist in graduation and commencement matters
  • Student and faculty support:
    • Assist in students’ matters including providing general advice e.g. management of study plan to ensure Division’s academic standards are met
    • Provide support to review plagiarism cases
    • Assist in e-claim system and admin support to faculty
    • Oversee the internship programme
    • Serve as member in the Division Care Team and the Crisis and Ethics Committee

(2) General admin

  • Housekeeping and maintenance of Division Studio/Offices
  • Admin support which includes processing claims request, assisting in events logistic etc
  • Any other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • University degree
  • Minimum of 3–5 years working experience in the same capacity
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
  • Service-oriented, with good analytical and inter-personal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a team or independently, with little supervision 
  • Familiarity with various administrative IT systems in NUS will be an advantage i.e. Cloud HR System (CHRS), NUS Concur, SAP S/4 Hana (Finance), nBox, Canvas, Curriculum Management System (CMS), NUS Student Work Scheme (NSWS) etc.
  • Competent in MS Office. It will be an added advantage if familiar with SAP and Web Development
