Journey is an all-in-one platform that enables executors to better handle post-death settlements, an emotionally and administratively exhausting responsibility. It consists of an information booklet that outlines the entire process, and an online platform that provides users with customisable step-by-step guidance, coordination with involved family members, and financial recording.
The online platform provides users with customisable step-by-step guidance, to better understand the administrative processes behind each service provider.
We conducted in-depth interviews with previous executors and administrators to dive deep into their stories and real-life experiences. Here, we asked questions in 4 main domains: administrative processes, financial inflows and outflows, communication with family and friends, and emotional well being.
We also conducted 2 co-design workshops to get feedback on the key features and functions necessary for our solution.
Finally, after multiple rounds of iteration and user testing, we landed on the final version of Journey.
