Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is hoping to design a healing experience through a reconfigurable living laboratory hospital room that can be transformed from bedroom to hospital room and to ICU, to allow physicians to test new equipment and technology to improve patient recovery outcomes. The room will feature new high tech experimental state of the art diagnostic monitoring and therapeutic technologies.
The research team has to closely monitor and keep the relevant parties informed of any updates or changes based on UI data monitoring.
The clinical staff will be equipped with an ipad to quickly report any situations to the relevant parties if an emergency arises.
The caregiver is required to use the AR feature in the CHOA app to scan his home environment for the research team to prepare and mimic the scene as closely as possible.
