IKA is a minimalistic trestle that is visually intriguing while maintaining structural integrity. Its simple build also emphasises ease of production, storage and assembly.
Placed on its side, the IKA turns into the perfect base for a coffee table.
Composed of two identical pieces, IKA is simple to produce, compact to store, and easy to put together or take apart.
After arriving at the idea of two-panel construction, further explorations were done to refine the shape and size of the panels, as well as angle of cut to achieve the best visual effect and structural stability.
