CDE Donor Appreciation Dinner 2026

On 12 June 2026, the College of Design and Engineering (CDE) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) hosted its Donor Appreciation Dinner at the Conrad Singapore Marina Bay. The evening brought together distinguished donors, faculty, students, and friends of the College to celebrate the generosity and vision of those who have helped shape the future of engineering and design education.

Prior to the dinner, guests were invited to a Pre-Event Project Showcase featuring a diverse range of student-led initiatives from across the College. The projects demonstrated how donor support enables students to pursue meaningful learning opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and address real-world challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration and hands-on experiences.

A highlight of the evening was a special tribute to Dr Liu Thai Ker, in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to Singapore's urban development and his enduring influence on the fields of architecture, planning, and design. His legacy continues to inspire future generations of students and professionals to create sustainable and liveable communities.

During the evening, the College also recognised the generous contributions of individuals and organisations who have supported the Liu Thai Ker Professorship. Their support honours Dr Liu Thai Ker's enduring legacy and helps advance the College's mission in education, research, and innovation.
