Professor Ho Ghim Wei has been named the recipient of the Singapore National Institute of Chemistry (SNIC)-AsCA2019 Singapore Award for Distinguished Woman Chemist 2026.
This prestigious award recognises her outstanding contributions in bridging fundamental science and engineered systems to develop functional materials and technologies with impact across energy, environmental, electronic, and healthcare applications.
Prof Ho’s interdisciplinary research drives innovation at the intersection of chemistry, materials science, and engineering, shaping solutions for real-world challenges.
The award will be presented at the 13th Singapore International Chemistry Conference in December 2026.
