NUS has opened a fourth research institute in China in the city of Guangzhou to help commercialise research breakthroughs. Professor Hang Chang Chieh (Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management) emeritus deputy president and president advisor of the institute, and Professor Meng Qiang (Civil and Environmental Engineering), director of the institute, shared more about the new NUS-Guangzhou Research Translation and Innovation Institute on CNA.
