If you thought you were looking at an artistic tableau created by an entomologist, take a closer look! These delicate and life-like creations are actually thinner-than-paper "soft" robots inspired by nature, with the ability to simultaneously detect strain and temperature, then move in response! This latest development is led by Associate Professor Ho Ghim Wei of NUS Electrical and Computer Engineering.
