Dear students, alumni, colleagues, and partners of CDE,

In April, we celebrated the achievements of our community at the CDE Awards 2026. The annual Awards reflect the strength and diversity of CDE and recognise those who drive our College forward through excellence in research, education, service and innovation. I am delighted to congratulate this year’s 98 awardees, whose dedication and achievements continue to raise standards and elevate the impact of CDE, both nationally and on the global stage. Thank you for the many ways you contribute to our community and inspire others to pursue excellence with purpose.

As we move into the final stretch of the semester, I want to recognise the effort our students have put in throughout the academic year. I know you've been balancing projects, internships, and many other commitments beyond the classroom. The weeks leading up to exams and final submissions can test both your stamina and confidence. Yet these moments are often where growth happens most: learning to manage competing demands, staying steady under pressure, communicating clearly with teammates and supervisors, and taking responsibility for the quality of your work.

I wish all our students the very best for the weeks ahead. Remember to take care of yourselves and each other. And to our CDE Award winners, congratulations once again.
