Reimagining Technology
Computer Engineering
Hi! I’m Barbara, a Year 3 Computer Engineering student with a second major in Social Work. During my first two years at NUS, I stayed in RC4, immersing myself in a vibrant campus life filled with sports and various activities. Through the E-Scholars program, I found a supportive group of friends, with whom we organized hackathons and workshops to teach AI skills. I am passionate about computer engineering because it offers a diverse skill set, and I am looking to specialize in AI and Robotics. This passion has led me to intern at a Singapore start-up, where I am deploying 3D models for immersive reality applications. Next semester, I’m excited to go on exchange to the Norwegian University of Science and Technology! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to chat!

Industrial & Systems Engineering
Hello! I'm Reayun, a Year 3 student majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a specialization in my passion, Sustainability Analytics. I'm also a scholar under the SgIS program with Infineon Technologies, a leading semiconductor company, where I am currently completing a 6-month internship. Following this, I will embark on an exchange program at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology to broaden my global perspective. In the past two years as a resident of Raffles Hall, I have been fortunate to encounter a myriad of opportunities. Through leading multiple functions, I have honed strong leadership skills and cultivated diverse experiences. I distinctly remember not having anyone to seek advice from when I first started university. Therefore, I am particularly excited and thrilled to have this opportunity to serve as a pillar of guidance and support for prospective and incoming students!

Engineering Science
Greetings, fellow viewers! I’m Visagan, a Year 2 Engineering Science student with a keen interest in leadership and innovation. Many engineers have amazing ideas, but sometimes they need a little nudge to bring them to life. My dream is to create a platform that facilitates just that. I’m particularly passionate about the automotive industry, especially its shift to renewable energy, though I do have a soft spot for the roar of a classic engine. I’m excited to join the NUS Formula SAE bootcamp and eager to contribute. I believe a bumpy ride is far more interesting than a smooth sail; those bumps shape us into who we are (and they make for better stories!). As an outreach ambassador, I’m here to help everyone get a real feel for NUS, forge meaningful connections, and share a few laughs along the way. Let’s navigate this journey together!

Civil Engineering
Hi! I’m Chenjing, a Year 4 Civil Engineering student specializing in Digitalisation in Urban Infrastructure (DUI). I lived in RC4 for my first two years of university, where I was actively involved in the volleyball interest group. Although I started playing the sport at university, I connected with others who shared the same passion, participated in the ICG and IFG, and gained leadership experience as captain.
In my third year, I went on exchange to KTH in Sweden, sharing an apartment with five roommates from different countries, which exposed me to various cultures. My time in CDE has significantly helped me discover my passion for engineering in coastal applications, and I am currently working on my FYP focusing on wave analysis.
Please feel free to approach me if you have any questions — I’m more than happy to help!
