Professor Ong Say Leong had his work recognised in the list of Top 50 Engineering Feats @ IES-SG50.
Professor Ong was part of the team that worked on NEWater. The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) launched the national competition Engineering Feats @ IES-SG50 in 2015 to recognise the top 50 engineering achievements across the various fields of engineering deemed to have made the greatest economic, infrastructural or societal impact to Singapore since 1965.
