Alumnus Dr Chin Kian Kong received ITS Lifetime Achievement Award - Civil and Environmental Engineering

Our heartiest congratulations to Dr. Chin Kian Keong, alumnus of Class 1982 Civil Engineering on receiving the Intelligent Transportation Society (ITS) Lifetime Achievement Award at the #ITSHamburg2021! This award recognises outstanding thought leaders for their exemplary contributions in the ITS field.

Dr. Chin was trained as an engineer and has always been passionate about transportation – moving people and goods safely and efficiently. During his career, he designed and supervised the construction of roads and bridges, implemented many traffic engineering and road safety schemes and eventually, got excited with technologies to make transportation systems intelligent. Dr. Chin is also currently the Chief Engineer in Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Advisor to ITS Singapore.
