Assoc Prof Liu Yang on Singapore’s Autonomous Mobility Landscape

A/Prof Liu Yang shared her insights with Lianhe Zaobao on Waymo’s entry into Singapore and its implications for the autonomous mobility landscape. She discussed the evolving competitive environment, the importance of local operational capabilities and consumer trust, and the potential for multiple autonomous mobility providers to coexist within Singapore’s transport ecosystem. From 8 – 10 July, our PhD Student Liew Chet Ming attended the 32nd KKNN Symposium in Environmental Engineering at National Taiwan University in Taipei. During the symposium, he also presented part of his PhD research through an oral presentation, which went on to receive the Best Oral Presentation Award. Congratulations, Chet Ming!
