PhD student supervised by A/Prof Qian Xudong received the ISTS Young Researcher Award - Civil and Environmental Engineering

Mr Liu Tianyao, PhD student, supervised by A/Prof Qian Xudong received the “ISTS Young Researcher Award” in the 17^th International Symposium on Tubular Structures held in Singapore from 9^th to 12^th December 2019. The ISTS Young Researcher Award recognizes the technical and innovative contributions for researchers aged below 35. Mr Liu Tianyao stood out among the shortlisted candidates, which include early-career faculty members in Europe, Asia and Australia.
