Research Collaborations
RCA has been signed between NUS (Centre for 5G Digital Building Technology) and KAJIMA CORPORATION (acting through its Kajima Technical Research Institute) to Study about Digital Twin for Smart Construction Management and evaluation of different State-of-the-Art Wireless Technologies
Under the RCA, both the parties agreed to explore the Comparative analysis of digital twin and wireless technologies (5G, WiFi6, NB-IoT, ZigBee, Ultra-wide band, RFID, etc) used in ubiquitous construction management applications in terms of super high-speed, wide bandwidth, high throughput and ultra-low latency.
RCA has been signed between NUS (centre of Excellence in BIM Integration) and GLODON INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD to Conceptualize a holistic Cloud-based 5D BIM Digital Cost Management Solution for design, tender and construction phases.
Under the RCA, both the parties agreed to explore the key issues faced by the Singapore construction industry in using 5D BIM digital cost management during the design, tender, and construction phases. Furthermore, they will jointly develop a framework for developing a holistic Cloud-based 5D BIM Integrated Digital Solution prototype to address the key issues.
MOU has been signed between NUS centre of Excellence in BIM Integration (NUS BIM COE) and China Association of Construction Education (CACE) on 29th October 2016. CACE is National Level association of education departments, units and institutions with more than 900 members in China.
Under the MOU, both the parties agreed to collaborate and initiate knowledge transfer on educational and research activities in the rapidly changing research landscape. The Collaboration will help both the parties to develop and share their strong scientific knowledge base for the development of broad based innovation strategies in differnt areas of construction and BIM.
REDAS (Real Estate Developers' Association of Singapore) and National university of Singapore (NUS) signed a MOU to promote joint research and development activities. Under the MOU , following will be areas of cooperation:

- To develop BIM roadmap and industry best practices guide helping the industry in connected BIM approach.
- To organize BIM executive programme for upper and middle management officers.
- To develop a BIM system which will help REDAS members to determine business value.
- To develop cloud based infrastructure for deposit and sharing of information between members.
Research collaboration agreement was signed between department of the built environment, NUS Centre of Excellence in BIM Integration and GRAPHISOFT for "productization eqBQ".
An MoU between NUS and Graphisoft was signed to explore various area of BIM development and education
The MOU was signed in between NUS and BuildingSmart Singapore for various research collaborations and develop open and interoperable standards in BIM
The MOU was signed in between NUS and BuildingSmart Korea for various research collaborations and develop open and interoperable standards in BIM
The MOU was signed in between NUS and Kyung Hee University, South Korea. The aim of this MoU is to explore collaborative research projects, promote exchange between students and enhance teaching and education.
