Our Centre for 5G Digital Building Technology is a leading global centre, influencing state of the art digital building technologies across research, industry and education. We offer courses that allow our students to get up close and personal with the robots and digital twin system researched in this centre.
IPM1102 Infrastructure and Project Management Law
In this course, Year 1 IPM students learn about the fundamental principles of law in Singapore such as the Singapore legal system; legal system and method including statutory interpretation; basic principles of the law of contract and the tort of negligence. These principles will be applied to and explained with examples from infrastructure and project management and the built environment.

Digital Construction
In the Digital Contruction course, Year 1 IPM undergraduate students take a hands-on approach to learning. They select a building on campus, conduct field surveys and create models from scratch. With ClimateStudio, an environmental performance analysis software, the students perform various building performance simulations, including daylight, solar radiation and energy analysis.

Built Environment Engineering Principles and Practice
Our IPM students learn about international and local standards for green buildings through case studies including our very own net-zero energy building : SDE4. SDE4 features a number of active and passive feature that allow it to not only conserve but also generate its own electricity and the students get to view these in action on their field trips!
