STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS & STUDENT LIFE
CDE Day 2025
It was all fun and games as CDE students and staff turned up outside of LT6 to take part in CDE Day on 22 January 2025. Co-organised by the CDE Office of Student Life and the CDE Club, there were game booths and food stalls set up for all members of the CDE Community to enjoy, including a laser tag arena! Team Bumblebee Sponsor Appreciation Night 2025

Following a year of continued progress and success, Team Bumblebee commemorated their 2024 milestones by extending their gratitude to valued sponsors at their annual Sponsors Appreciation Night on 15 January 2025.
Team Lead Teoh Xu En recounted Team Bumblebee's journey in 2024, from the early stages of developing Bumblebee's three vehicles—BBAUV 4.1, BBASV 4.0, and Jellyfish 2.0, navigating the trials and errors, to their momentous victories at SAUVC 2024 and RobotX 2024.
Team Bumblebee was immensely honoured to have Guest-of-Honour Mr Shawn Huang, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance, in attendance. Mr Huang has been very influential in Team Bumblebee’s growth, giving valuable advice and encouragement and even taking time to send off the team at the airport when they journeyed to the US for the RobotX competition.
The team is also thankful for NUS's support as the title sponsor and for being one of their biggest supporters throughout their journey. Associate Professor Teo Chiang Juay, CDE Vice-Dean (Undergraduate Programmes), was also present at the event.
"We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our hardworking sponsors and members who made 2024 a year full of accomplishments. We are incredibly excited for what the future holds for Team Bumblebee. With your continued support, we are confident we can achieve even greater heights."
