MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN!

Dear students, alumni, colleagues, and partners of CDE,
As the academic year draws to a close, we are once again in the midst of exam season, which can naturally be a stressful time for many students. However, examinations are just one part of the broader journey at CDE.
To all our students, I would like to emphasise that some of the most valuable takeaways from the past year lie not in the exams, but in the friendships you have forged, the support you have received from your tutors, and the skills you have developed through teamwork and hands-on projects.
I have had the privilege of witnessing your energy and creativity during project presentations and showcases at the end of each semester. Trust me, these experiences will remain some of your most enduring and meaningful memories, long after the exams are over.
For those graduating this year, I encourage you to stay connected with CDE. Recently, a number of our Division of Industrial Design alumni were featured at Milan Design Week, the world’s largest design event.
These achievements reflect not only their talent but also their passion for their chosen fields and their commitment to making a meaningful difference, which are values that lie at the heart of our College.
Professor Teo Kie Leong
Dean
