I’m a learner and a problem-solver. As I explore the wonders of design, I see it as a tool to create  better means of solving problems in a beautiful manner.

I enjoy people-watching, noticing their emotions and behaviors. It is through these that I gain inspiration for creation.

Project 1 - Orikumo
Thesis Orikumo is a modular acoustic system made of folded textiles. It is a sculptural approach to conventional acoustical solutions, and utilises the three-dimensional nature of its structure to absorb ambient noise, as well as inject life to spaces. The felt pieces are fastened together to create hanging structures and wall
claddings that are sound-absorbent. This modular system enables flexibility and variation to adapt to any space that requires sound absorption, such as libraries, offices & exhibition spaces.
Project 2 - STITX
Group Project with Albert Lee & Corina Tan
In collaboration with Uyii Designed to suit the lifestyles of Nomadic Workers, STITX is a sitck-on organizer for your belongings and gadgets necessary for work on-the-go. Bringing you convenience by sitting snugly at the back of your laptop, reducing the clutter of things on the already-tiny workspaces. Featured on Culturepush, ComplexTech, Trendhunter & more
Retailed at Keepers: Singapore Designer Collective & Uyii.com
Project 3 - BRINGING M.O.M TO YOU
Group Project with Iris Tan & Iliana Ishak In collaboration with Ministry of Manpower To reduce congestion at MOM Services Centre, we introduced an e-kiosk concept that aims to enable pre-screening, resolve general enquiries and allow users to print out important documents before heading down to the services centre. This was designed specially to assist Foreign Workers (who make up the bulk of visitors to the MOMSC). Also, to further aid the efficiency of the services at the centre, we developed a communication toolkit targeted specifically at increasing the efficiency of the appointment process. Winners of MOM Service Design Challenge 2014
Project 4 - Beauty in a Box
Group Project with Albert Lee & Malvina Wijaya
In collaboration with Eu Yan Sang Beauty in a Box is a new take on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that enables convenient TCM at home to treat skin problems for young women. The Beauty in a Box service reduces the need for time-consuming visits to the TCM clinic through home delivery of tailered medicines, self-treatment, and remote consultation with TCM practitioners.
