MSc (ISE) student - Gloria Huang Shang
Gloria is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in engineering, data analytics, and digital marketing. She is currently serving as a Paid Ads Business Development Manager at OKX, where she oversees the strategic growth of local advertising channels, designs paid ad strategies, and improves user experience based on campaign performance analysis. Prior to OKX, Gloria worked as a Senior Account Strategist at SHAREit, where she managed data-driven digital marketing campaigns and provided global business insights to support pre-sales, post-sales, and new sales initiatives. She optimized campaigns for key accounts in South Africa and Europe, demonstrating a strong focus on performance marketing.
Gloria’s educational journey is just as impressive. She earned a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS), graduating at the top of her class with a 4.95/5 GPA. She specialized in Data Analytics, mastering tools like Python, SQL, and Tableau, and received the Standard Chartered Bank Prize for being the top student in the programme. She was also a CN Yang Scholar during her undergraduate days, where she maintained a consistent presence on the Dean’s List and pursued a second major in Food Science and Technology as well.
Gloria’s expertise spans multiple industries and domains, and her dedication to continuous learning and excellence has been recognized through numerous accolades. She remains committed to leveraging her diverse skills in both technology and marketing to drive innovation and growth in her current role and beyond.
