Hongtao graduated from Tsinghua University with a BEng in Industrial Engineering and applied to the NUS MSc Industrial & Systems Engineering programme shortly after with a clear goal in mind – attaining a PhD degree at NUS ISEM.

After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani, Dubai, Ahamed Jameel took on a marketing position at Bosch Middle East in the power tools segment. During this time, he was determined to upskill and transition from a technical background to a career in Management.

After receiving a full scholarship from the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) for his BEng Electrical Engineering degree with NUS (1998 – 2002), Desmond served as an Air Engineering Officer for 9 years.
