“Queueing-Game Analysis and Optimization Control of Stochastic Service Systems”by Dr Jinting Wang Distinguished Professor Department of Management Sciences, Central University of Finance and Economics |
10 July 2025 (Thursday), 4pm – 5pm Venue: E1-07-21/22 - ISEM Executive Classroom |
ABSTRACT
The rapid development of modern information technology poses many challenges to various service systems, such as the uncertainty of customer behavior, dynamic changes in service resources, and optimal service pricing. This talk mainly reports on the optimal allocation strategy of the queueing service systems, the application of queueing economics and queueing game in wireless communication and other fields. It focuses on addressing research issues such as resource optimization configuration and customer behavior-based optimization control. Finally, we will report on relevant applications and research progress in the fields of healthcare, platform economy, wireless communication, etc. |
Jinting Wang is currently a "Longma" Distinguished Professor at the Department of Management Sciences, School of Management Science and Engineering (SMSE), Central University of Finance and Economics, Beijing, China. He is now the Director of the Academic Committee of SMSE. His research interests focus on Stochastic Optimization and Operations Research, Operations Management and Management Science, including queueing theory, queueing economics, reliability, inventory control and the applications of game theory and queueing theory in operations management, service science, and wireless communication & networking.
