The Department of Industrial Systems Engineering & Management (ISEM), National University of Singapore invites applications for open rank tenure-track/tenured positions in data science, machine learning, and supply chain management. Our department values pure methodology as well as translational work with significant applications, as evidenced by the faculty’s wide domain expertise. Requisite is exceptional potential for leadership in research and education, an ability and willingness to teach at all levels of the programme, and a PhD in statistics, computer/information science, operations research, or a related field by the start of the appointment. Successful candidates can expect excellent conditions for research and teaching, a collegial and supportive environment at a highly ranked international university, and the experience of living in a dynamic and exciting English-speaking city. In addition to competitive salaries, NUS provides an attractive support package including subsidized housing and relocation benefits. About the Award
The NRF Postdoctoral Award is a highly competitive and prestigious national initiative in Singapore supported by the Singapore National Research Foundation to attract and support exceptional early career researchers. Eligibility Criteria
- Displayed exceptional intellectual ability to produce original work of the highest quality, especially in AI+X domains, quantum technologies, materials and fabrication, sustainability, healthcare, etc.
- Possess a PhD in a STEM discipline
- No more than 3 years of post-PhD research experience at the time of application
- The award is contingent upon taking up a full-time postdoctoral position at NUS before 31 December 2025

Evaluation Process and Criteria:
Applications will be reviewed by expert evaluation panel, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. Assessment criteria include, but are not limited to the research proposal quality, publication record, achievements and accolades, leadership potential.
