Milestones in the Department’s History
2022 | Master of Science in (Industrial and Systems Engineering) launched two new areas of specialization: i) Data Analytics and ii) Engineering and Service Management on top of its existing iii) Operations Research and iv) Systems Engineering specializations.
Master of Science in (Management of Technology) was rebranded as Master of Science in (Management of Technology and Innovation) and offers two new areas of specialization: i) Data Analytics for Innovation Management and ii) Product Management and Digital Strategy on top of its existing iii) Innovation & Entrepreneurship specialization. Both Master of Science in (Industrial and Systems Engineering) and (Management of Technology and Innovation) are offered as self-funded programmes. |

2017 | Merger of the Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISE) Department with the Division of Engineering & Technology Management (ETM) to form the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering & Management (ISEM). | |

2014 | Launch of the Master of Science in Management of Technology with Specialization in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. | |
2012 | Executive Master in Systems Engineering & Management was launched. | |
2011 | MSc (Supply Chain Management) was launched in collaborations with Decision Science and TLIAP.
Joint Summer Program with Georgia Institute of Technology. Launch of Graduate Certificate in Management of Technology programme Contributed to the newly established Institute of Engineering Leadership (IEL) as a major academic anchor in teaching and research activities, particularly in the strategic area of Innovation and Entrepreneurship |
