A/Prof Palani Balaya conferred as Academician by World Academy of Ceramics

Congrats to NUS ME Associate Professor Palani Balaya! A/Prof Balaya has been conferred the title of Academician by the World Academy of Ceramics (WAC), and was officially inducted during CIMTEC 2022 – 15th International Conference on Modern Materials and Technologies, at Perugia, Italy on 21 June 2022.

The appointment as Academician goes to individuals who have made internationally renowned contributions to the advancement of ceramics culture, science and technology. The academy’s total elected membership is presently limited to about 300 people worldwide.
