A group of 25 Materials Science and Engineering, NUS (MSE) students recently visited the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at National Tsing Hua University Taiwan(NTHU-MSE) for a meaningful academic and cultural exchange.
The NUS–NTHU Taiwan Summer Programme was planned and coordinated by Dr Fang-Cheng Liang, who also led the MSE student delegation together with Assistant Professor Wan Yi from Materials Science and Engineering, NUS, providing guidance and support during the academic visits and exchange activities.
Through lectures, laboratory visits, hands-on activities, and visits to research and industry institutions, our students gained valuable exposure to cutting-edge materials science research and its real-world applications. There were also opportunities to engage closely with NTHU students, exchange ideas, and form lasting friendships across universities and cultures.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to NTHU-MSE for the warm hospitality and strong support throughout the programme. This experience greatly enriched our students’ academic learning and personal growth, making it a truly memorable and rewarding journey.
