3D Modelling & Printing Workshop in Assistive Technology

Where creativity meets compassion to make a real-world impact.

This hands-on workshop introduces students to 3D design and printing tools while highlighting how technology can enhance accessibility and improve lives for persons with disabilities. Participants will explore how innovation and empathy come together in designing assistive devices for community healthcare.

What You’ll Learn

  • Learn the basics of 3D modelling using Tinkercad and 3D printing through Bambu Studio
  • Discover how assistive devices are transforming community healthcare
  • Apply design thinking to create solutions with empathy and purpose
  • Hear from NUS Biomedical Engineering professor and students about their experiences and life at CDE
